The Higher School of Tourism and Hotel Industry in Gdansk cooperates

1. HSTHI cooperates with universities:

- The Higher School of Economics and Tourism in Szczecin
The cooperation includes exchange of academic staff experience: joint
scientific projects and research; exchange of scientific information;
exchange of scientific, research and didactic papers', participation in
conferences and seminars, etc.
HSTHI also belongs to the Association of Private Institutions of Higher
Education in the Pomeranian Region (agreement: pdf),
as well as the Conference of Rectors of Polish Vocational Schools.
What's more, HSTHI students cooperate individually as well as a team
with students from different universities. They co-organize
conferences, seminars and other scientific meetings as well as sport

2. HSTHI cooperates with the following secondary schools from

- Group of Secondary Schools Owidz,

3. HSTHI cooperates with state and local administration: the Office of
the Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship, Mayors of the City of Gdansk,
Sopot, Gdynia, Wejherowo, Vice-Mayors, representatives of City and
Commune Halls in Wejherowo, Chojnice, Jastarnia, representatives of
City Councils in Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot, Wejherowo and Slupsk,
representatives of communes in Cedry Wielkie, Kosakowo, European
Integration Office of Pomeranian Voivodeship Council as well as
regional and local job offices.
HSTHI often invites the representatives of state and local authorities
to deliver lectures. So far, in HSTHI have taken place the lectures of:
Speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Prof. Longin Pastusiak,
Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Jan Król,
Minister of Education - Senator of the Republic of Poland Prof. Edmund
Wittbrodt, Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship Jan Kozlowski, Mayor of the
City of Gdansk Pawel Adamowicz, Mayor of the City of Sopot Jacek
Karnowski.
4. HSTHI also cooperates with the main companies of tourism and hotel
industry in Pomeranian Region. Students observe the functioning and
running of hotels as well as take part in trainings in famous
restaurants in Gdansk as part of the curriculum. Our partners in that

6. HSTHI is a member of Business Centre Club, entrepreneurs
organization founded in 1991. Business Centre Club (BCC) was founded as
a multilevel organization supporting enterprise in Poland. BCC is an
elitist business club and the biggest private employer organization in
Poland (recommendation: pdf).
In order to strengthen the innovative activity of the sector of small
and medium enterprises, HSTHI has also signed an agreement on
cooperation with Pomeranian Chamber of Skilled Crafts of Small and
Medium Enterprises.
