ABOUT THE CLUB
HSTHI's Academic Sports Club (AZS) acts within the structures of the
Academic Sports Association of Gdansk.
The academic year 2008/2009 holds high prospects for our sports teams and

HISTORY
Our club was founded on March 26th, 1999. During the first
year, there were 2 sections - Aerobics and Football - with about 30
members. Another section - Athletics - was formed in the year 2000.
That year student-athletes and student-footballers of the HSTHI's
Academic Sports Club, for the first time, began to compete with other
colleges. The football team took part in the Championship of Polish

The years 2001-2002 were a time of organizational and athletic success
for HSTHI's Academic Sports Club. Funds granted by the Board of
Directors of our school and the Main Board of the Academic Sports
Association of Poland made it possible to rent new sports facilities
and thus the number of members of the Club greatly increased. Our

Institutions of Higher Education in Kielce (2001) and in Ostrowiec
Swietokrzyski (2002).
